Bisleri Industrial Visit
Understanding the practical implications of concepts forms a very important part of the management curriculum. With an aim to go beyond classrooms, Sushant School of Business, Ansal University organised an Industrial Visit to Bisleri Factory in Ghaziabad for the students of BBA and B.com.
On reaching the plant students received a very warm welcome and were then split into two groups for the visit each led by a staff member of the Bisleri plant. They witnessed the entire process from extraction, processing and testing to final packaging and distribution which provided great insight. This was followed by a very interactive Q/A session with both the groups in the conference room and students showed great enthusiasm about the working and operations of the factory.
Apart from the whole process of production of a Bisleri packaged bottle, students got to know about the importance of teamwork, coordination and synchronisation. All in all, students learned a lot from the industrial visit and was one experience that the students will remember for quite some time.
It was a truly learning experience for the students.
Hero Motor Corp Visit
For Management students, it’s important to apply the theory they learn in the classroom and know how these are applied in organizations. To synthesize the theory with practice, students of BBA and B.Com. visited Hero Moto Corp in Gurgaon where they saw the manufacturing unit and understood the techniques such as TPM – Total Preventive Maintenance which are adapted for Zero Defects System in Manufacturing Unit. Students also understood the HR Policies of Hero Moto Corp and the Green Initiatives which are taken by the company. It was a great learning experience for students.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT: SHAHI EXPORTS
Students of Sushant School of Business, Ansal University had an industrial visit to Shahi Exports Faridabad, which is India’s largest Apparel manufacturer and Export company.
Shahi deals with big brands like Zara, H&M, Walmart, GAP, Superdry and many more. Students got an opportunity to see the export house manufacturing, washing, stitching, designing, cutting and embroidery. Shahi has more than 100000 employees in which 67% are female workers. Shahi always looks at the bigger picture they give employment to women so that they can learn and showcase their talent.
It was an amazing experience for the students, they got to learn about the apparel industry and its working.
